People Can’t Believe These Stunning Cars Are Made in China
11. Wuling Nano EV
The Wuling Nano EV is a micro electric city car made by SAIC-GM-Wuling — a joint venture between SAIC, General Motors, and Liuzhou Wuling. Launched in 2021, it's the tinier, sportier sibling of the world-famous Hongguang Mini EV — the best-selling EV in China's history with over 1.1 million units sold.
The Nano EV takes things even further: this is about the smallest, most affordable new electric car money can buy on planet Earth.

Why It's a Big Deal
Size: Tiny — just 2,480 mm long (less than 8.2 feet). Shorter than a golf cart. You can park two of them in a single standard parking space. In a congested city, this is a superpower.
2 Seats, 2 Doors: Built for one person and one passenger — nothing more, nothing less. No pretense. Pure urban utility.
Motor: 24 kW (32 hp), rear-wheel drive. Top speed: 62 mph. Not a highway car — and it doesn't need to be. In Chinese cities, 90% of daily trips are under 30 miles.
Design: Surprisingly stylish for the price — a rounded two-tone body, full LED daytime running lights, digital geometric headlights, and a Wuling logo that glows at night. The Zootopia edition came with full character wraps, themed seat covers, and Nick & Judy dashboard decorations.
Features: Air conditioning, power windows, a 4-inch instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, rear parking sensors, and TPMS. Not luxury — but genuinely complete for city life.
Charging: Standard household 220V outlet. No special charger needed. Plug it in like a phone at night, wake up with a full "tank."
Weight: Just 820 kg (~1,800 lbs) — lighter than a Smart ForTwo, let alone a Tesla Model 3.
