Apple TV+ Drops New Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 Trailer as Jon Hamm Returns and James Marsden Joins the Cast
Apple TV+ has officially unveiled the first trailer for season two of Your Friends & Neighbors, offering fans a fresh look at the next chapter of the darkly stylish suburban drama led by Jon Hamm. The acclaimed series returns globally on April 3, with the new season set to roll out over 10 episodes.
The upcoming installment picks up with Andrew Cooper, Hamm’s increasingly complicated antihero, as he leans even further into his double life as an unlikely thief in an affluent suburban world. But whatever control he thinks he has may not last long. Season two raises the stakes with the arrival of a mysterious new neighbor, a character expected to shake up the neighborhood and threaten to expose the secrets Cooper has worked so hard to keep buried.
Adding even more intrigue, James Marsden joins the cast for season two, stepping into the pivotal role of that enigmatic newcomer. His arrival brings a fresh layer of tension to a series already known for balancing sleek suspense, emotional fallout and dark humor. Returning cast members include Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt and Donovan Colan.
Created by Jonathan Tropper, Your Friends & Neighbors has steadily built a reputation as one of Apple TV+’s more compelling drama offerings, drawing attention for its sharp tone and its mix of crime, character drama and biting social unease. The series has already earned enough momentum that it was renewed early for a third season, a sign of growing confidence in the show’s staying power.
Tropper continues to serve as creator, showrunner, director and executive producer, with Apple Studios backing the series. Hamm also executive produces alongside Connie Tavel, Craig Gillespie, Jamie Rosengard, Lori Keith Douglas and Stephanie Laing, who directs multiple episodes this season.
With the trailer now out, season two looks poised to push the series deeper into its world of polished facades, hidden motives and suburban chaos. For viewers who were drawn in by the first season’s mix of danger and dysfunction, the new episodes appear ready to deliver an even sharper, more volatile ride.
