Netflix has revealed another major casting update for its live-action One Piece, confirming that Season 3 will introduce two more notable members of Baroque Works as the series pushes deeper into the Grand Line storyline.

Daisy Head has joined the upcoming season as Miss Doublefinger, while Awdo Awdo will appear as Mr. 1, both set as recurring guest stars. Their arrival signals that the live-action adaptation is continuing to lean into one of the manga and anime’s most memorable stretches, with Baroque Works becoming an even bigger threat for Luffy and the Straw Hat crew.

The announcement adds to a growing list of Season 3 cast reveals that have steadily fueled excitement around the Netflix series. Previously announced newcomers include Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace and Cole Escola as Bon Clay, two fan-favorite characters whose introductions suggest the show is embracing a more ambitious and character-rich phase of the story.

Netflix had already confirmed an early Season 3 renewal during the annual One Piece Day celebration in Tokyo, giving the series a strong vote of confidence well before the next batch of episodes arrived. Filming on the third season is now underway in Cape Town, South Africa, where the production has returned to continue the Straw Hats’ live-action voyage.

Behind the scenes, Season 3 also marks a notable creative shift. Ian Stokes is stepping in alongside Joe Tracz as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer for the new installment, helping guide the adaptation as it scales up its world and raises the stakes.

While the focus is now turning toward the third season, the franchise still has unfinished business before that. Season 2, titled One Piece: Into the Grand Line, is set to bring the Straw Hats into more dangerous waters, introducing fiercer enemies, stranger islands, and a much wider world beyond the East Blue. With Season 3 already adding key Baroque Works players, it is becoming increasingly clear that Netflix is laying the groundwork for a larger conflict that longtime fans have been waiting to see brought to life.

Based on Eiichiro Oda’s legendary manga, the live-action series follows Monkey D. Luffy and his crew as they chase the legendary treasure known as the One Piece. What began as a risky adaptation has quickly become one of Netflix’s most closely watched genre projects, and with each new casting reveal, Season 3 looks poised to go even bigger than before.
