Netflix has dropped a new trailer for BEEF Season 2, offering a sharper look at the anthology series’ next emotionally volatile chapter and setting the stage for another slow-burn collision of resentment, privilege, and unraveling relationships.

The upcoming season shifts into a sleek and uneasy new world, centering on two couples whose lives begin to fray beneath the polished surface of wealth and status. Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan lead one side of the story as Josh and Lindsay, a millennial couple navigating the quiet strain beneath the image of a stable marriage. On the other side are Cailee Spaeny and Charles Melton as Ashley and Austin, a younger pair whose own tensions hint at a different but equally combustible kind of instability.

Set against the manicured backdrop of an exclusive country club community, the new footage leans hard into the contrast between luxury and emotional chaos. The trailer plays with the idea that choosing the “right” partner should mean security, but in true BEEF fashion, that promise looks increasingly fragile. Beneath the beautiful homes, expensive routines, and carefully managed appearances, the season appears ready to dig into the kind of personal grievances that can spiral into something much bigger.

Season 2 looks poised to expand the show’s signature mix of sharp social observation and nerve-rattling tension, exploring how love, ambition, class pressure, and generational expectations can quietly turn relationships into battlegrounds. The new trailer suggests that what begins as intimate dissatisfaction may once again ignite consequences far beyond the couples at the center of the story.

Created by Lee Sung Jin, BEEF returns with a fresh standalone storyline while keeping the biting, psychologically charged energy that made its first season such a breakout. With its acclaimed pedigree and a cast packed with heavyweight talent, the new installment is already shaping up to be one of Netflix’s most intriguing April releases.

BEEF Season 2 premieres April 16 on Netflix.
